Thanks to its airtight, self-supporting structure (no need for foundations), it can be embedded in any type of soil. Installation in areas with high groundwater levels is also possible. In such cases, anchoring the structure in the ground and creating a drainage bedding is required.

To find the perfect spot for the cellar, we must consider not only the dimensions of the unit itself but also the additional mound that serves as insulation. Thanks to this insulation, the cellar stays cool without using electricity. When planning the placement of the root cellar, you need to add approximately 1 meter to each side of the cellar’s actual dimensions.

The doors are custom-profiled to prevent rain or melting snow from getting inside. This is a solution we also utilise in boat manufacturing. Inside, there is a 10-centimetre layer of closed-cell foam, which perfectly insulates the cellar against changing outdoor conditions. In addition to being technically refined, we know that the doors are a key visual element. Therefore, we leave the choice of colour up to you, so that the cellar blends seamlessly into any garden.

Yes, but in waterlogged areas, the installation site must be properly prepared to avoid problems caused by high groundwater levels. If the groundwater is near the surface, it may be necessary to install perimeter drainage around the cellar and use additional anchoring to prevent the cellar from being pushed up by the water. Modern laminate cellar models are often adapted for installation in more challenging conditions, but it is always advisable to consult with a specialist to select the right solutions. In some cases, it may be necessary to use a concrete foundation slab, which will provide additional ballast to the structure and prevent it from lifting.
